Meet Our Providers

Every North Star provider's focus, ages seen, and conditions treated, so you can choose the right fit before you register.

A Growing Team, One Standard of Care

North Star Psychiatry & Wellness is expanding beyond its founder to include additional psychiatric nurse practitioners and licensed therapists. Every provider below is held to the same standard: real time to talk, a consistent relationship, and a treatment plan built around your life, not a template. Each provider's page below covers who they see, what they treat, and whether they provide medication management, therapy, or both, so you can choose confidently before you register.

Seeking help for your mental health, or for your child's, takes courage, and you deserve to be met with warmth, patience, and respect from the very first visit. As a doctorally-prepared, board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner, I believe in listening first and treating the whole person, not just a list of symptoms.

I started North Star so patients across Lexington and the Midlands could have unhurried, compassionate psychiatric care, in the office or by telepsychiatry. Whether you are starting a conversation about your mental health for the first time or returning to care, you will be heard, and we will work out a plan together at a pace that feels right for you.

How to Choose a Provider

If you're not sure who's the right fit, a good starting point is what kind of care you're looking for: medication management for a diagnosis like ADHD, anxiety, depression, or bipolar disorder points toward a psychiatric nurse practitioner; ongoing talk therapy points toward a therapist; many patients benefit from both, working with two providers on the same team. Our office can also help match you based on age, condition, and scheduling needs.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I request a specific provider when I register?

Yes. Mention your preference to our office when you register or schedule, and we'll do our best to match you with that provider based on availability.

Do I need to see both a nurse practitioner and a therapist?

No — many patients see only one type of provider. Some benefit from both working together, one for medication management and one for therapy. Our office can help you decide what fits your situation.

Can I switch providers later if it's not the right fit?

Yes. If your first provider isn't the right fit, let our office know and we'll help you transition to another provider on our team.

Will new providers treat children and older adults too?

Ages and conditions treated will vary by provider and will be listed on this page as each new provider joins. Our office can confirm which provider is the best match for your age group before you register.
